Akbar Padamsee always remained experimental and individualistic and worked with different mediums from oil, plastic emulsion, water colour, sculpture, printmaking and photography. He conveyed a tremendous command over space, form and colour and is well known for his grey series, portraits, metascapes and mirror images.
